1# top sirloin, trimmed and cut into strips
1 inch fresh ginger, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 T EVOO
1 T soy sauce
2-4 dried chili peppers
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup fresh bean sprouts
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup shredded carrots
Mix in small bowl and reserve:
1 T soy sauce, 1 T cornstarch, 1 T water
Heat wok or skillet with EVOO. Add steak, garlic, ginger and soy. Saute until steak is completely browned.
Add chilis, pepper, onions, sprouts, carrots, and shrooms. Stir-fry for 5 minutes or until veggies are slightly softened.
Add cornstarch mixture and stir. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
Serve and top with peanuts and fresh jalapeno peppers.
