Buck Hill = Family fun

How do you make a 9.5 mile ride turn into a hard workout?  Tow your 4yr & 6yr old in the trailer!  PHEW- that is tough these days.  I vaguely remember towing one small 20lb child for miles upon miles effortlessly…then 2 children (20lbs and 35lbs) thinking it was pretty challenging…now 35lbs and 53lbs!  PULL 35lbs worth of trailer plus an extra 88lbs of kids up any small hill and you have yourself a WORKOUT.  (Note:  the route from my house to Buck Hill includes some significant hills.)

We LOVE Buck Hill on Thursday nights in the summer.  On the way to the races, Rowan actually asked me if he could ask the people who put it on to keep doing it.  Yes, yes you can!  This may have been our last Buck Hill for the summer- and we are all a little saddened by that 😦
