What was I thinking when I signed up for this race in July?
I guess ideally I thought it would force me to start running again. Train. I have basically taken the year off from running after losing some love for it at the end of last year.

What did it really look like?
38 miles in the last 10 weeks! Stellar.
My longest run: 8 (very miserable) miles
Highest mileage in a week: 13 miles (last week) *cram session*
What’s my race day plan?
Run .9 /Walk .1 (It will probably be more walking than that, but that’s my goal. I believe miles 4-7 are all up hill. Gulp.)
What am I telling myself?
What were you thinking?! Why didn’t you train?! Don’t get hurt! And last, but not least—>
