The beautiful thing about every day is that it is a fresh start. A new beginning. You can choose to continue on living the way you always do OR you can give it a
There are always things that I can work on, whether it’s personal, professional, or health related. Today I am going to do a major RESET.
I am resetting my diet. I have been a little slack on the paleo in the past two weeks. That stops now! I just feel better on it. Period.
I am resetting my workouts. I need SIX days a week. No excuses. I have been maintaining for too long. I need to be in lose mode. (Aka get faster and climb easier.) I think my vacation put me in relaxation mode and that is over. Today.
I am resetting my parenting. No TV. No video games. No easy out. These are now earned by physical activity and good behavior. My kids have been stuck in a whiny, talking-back rut. They have been couch potatoes this winter. AND it has to STOP!
Yesterday I had the brilliant idea to take the boys cross country skiing for the first time at Lebanon Hills. They were all smiles to start.
But then, it was hard…and then there was falling…and then crying…some yelling…some “I hate skiing”…some actual smiles…some whining…and last but not least, some RESET planning.
Don’t get me wrong. Skiing had it’s moments of fun, but overall, I was hoping for more smiles then tears. What I got was more fighting than fun.
Will we do it again? Absolutely.
Will I be more prepared? I hope so.
Do I need to work on my patience? Yes!
RESET on getting these boys outside even in the harsh MN winter. It starts today.

Even if they’re unhappy, they are still ADORABLE! And I LOVE your determination!
Thanks Momma
