Try this workout at home the next time you can’t fit in a hour of cardio or you are crunched for time. Trust me. This will hurt.
6 rounds, no breaks:
20 sit-ups (crossfit sit-ups)
10 deep-knee lunges
I came across this website: calicrossfit.blogspot.com yesterday. I don’t have access to all the equipment at home needed to do the exact workouts she posts, but I can do most and modify as needed.
I made the whole family do these last night and we are feeling it today! (Well Ryan and I are anyway. The boys did the workout but certainly didn’t put in the effort we did. When do kids learn how to do sit-ups? This was the hardest part for all of us.)
It hurts SO good. I actually have pain in my glutes! This is a huge success for me. I need strength in this area more than anywhere. I love when a workout that on paper seems simple just crushes you. Gonna have to add this routine and some others on a 3-4 times a week basis. There is no way this won’t make me stronger and fitter. Love it!
